Customer service bots. For decades now we've got used to the idea that we must communicate with computers in unusual ways. First it was the command line, then mouse and windows, then hyperlinks and the web. But outside of the electronic world we communicate by talking. By conversation. Our work on natural language interfaces is designed to help bring the conversational metaphor to web-sites, web based applications and services, and to virtual worlds.
